COMMENTS:

  • 'bhavitA' ('that which will come to be') is a special declension that indicates a future tense, and must not be merged with the verb 'mriyate' in clause A.2. It is assigned to an elided copula verb ('as:2:P:to be') in clause A.5.
  • Note that [MM2015][1] treats this term as 'abhavitA:that which will not come to be', instead of 'bhavitA:that which will not come to be', which is possible if the input had the combination word 'bhUtvAbhavitA' (instead of the 'bhUtvA bhavitA' input assumed by [KK2015][2] and the parser). From the Sanskrit commentaries by experts, it appears that some commentators have used the term 'NOM-S:abhavitA:that which will not come to be', while others have used the term 'NOM-S:bhavitA:that which will come to be'. The problem is compounded by the presence of the succeeding term 'na:not'. Clearly, this is a difficult semantic issue, and the result is partly dependent on the input given top the parser (i.e. the input to the parser should be different for the 'abhavitA' result).
  • The parser also treated the Subject 'NOM-S:ayam:this' of clause A.2 as the [shared] Subject of clause A.1.
