COMMENTS:

• Note that the NOM-S 'guDAkeshaHa' must skip clauses B.2 (VerbImperative) and B.3 (VerbGerund) to be assigned to clause B.4.
• Although 'yotsya' is correctly identified during sandhi analysis, we show that the parser chooses the correct alternative even if it is presented with the unresolved term 'yotsya/yotsye'.
• Note that there is no agreement between commentators on whether the stanza has the input word 'parantapa' or 'parantapaHa'. The parser used the input 'parantapa', and thereafter analysed it as the Vocative term 'VOC-S:parantapa:O scorcher of foes', leading the reader to understand that it refers to Dhrutarashtra (since the narrator Sanjaya is addressing him). [KAL2015][1] and some expert commentators also treat it in the same way. [MM2015][2] and other commentators treat the term as 'parantapaHa:scorcher of foes', and understand it to refer to Arjuna (as in Stanza 2.3). Clearly, a missing/ mistaken visarga can cause a significant divergence in the semantics of this stanza. This issue must be left to the wisdom of human experts. This cannot really be considered a parsing defect as the parsing output would have been different if the input had been different.
