Underlying: karmaNNi eva adhikAras te mA phaleSHu kadAchana , mA karmaphalahetus bhUs mA te saNgas astu akarmaNNi .
COMMENTS:
- This is a difficult stanza for the parser to resolve correctly.
- Note that 'bhUHa' (shown in clause A.2 below) could be both a NOM-S as well as a rare Injunctive Verb. The parser must resolve the term as the rare Vedic Injunctive Verb form in this stanza. Note that the Vedic Injunctive form is frequently marked as an Aorist Verb, as seen in [MM2015] [1] and [KAL2015] [2].
- The parser split the stanza into 4 clauses, inserting the elided copula verb ('as:2:P:to be') in clauses A.3 and A.4. Ideally, the elided copula verb in clause A.4 should be a Vedic Injunctive Verb (due to the preceding prohibitive 'mA'), whereas the elided copula verb in clause A.3 should be a Present Tense Verb. [MM2015] creates only 3 clauses, with the terms shown in clauses A.3 and A.4 below instead shown in a single clause.
